Happy Birthday Kristen DeThomas Bryant! My beautiful baby girl turned into a stunning proverbs 31 woman! When she was a little girl I always told her she had a gentle and meek Spirit like our Lord. She still has that Spirit, even in the midst of chaos she is laid back, easy-going and gentle with her six (sometimes 7) kids. No crisis seems to move her, she stands firm in the face of trials. True faith cannot only move mountains, but it can hold a child in the middle of a m**h melt down and tell them how sweet they are, how loved they are without once losing it! She can do it once a day or she can do it 20 times a day and the result is happy children who know they are loved not only by their mommy but also by the very God of the universe! There was a time in her life I thought God made her to be an athlete, and for that time he did. There was a time in her life I thought God has given her the voice of an angel and he made her to sing, and for that time he did. Today, I know without a doubt, God has made her to be a mommy, to parent children, not just normal children, (if there is such a thing) he made her for children from hard places with special needs, children who need to know the power of unconditional love and in knowing that power she points her children to Jesus! I could not be more proud of my daughter for the woman God has created her to be! Happy birthday Kristen, I love you deeper than the ocean and wider than the sea....forever!
