Got a message to come look for this guy after a young boy shot him and knock him down. The deer ended up getting up and moved a couple hundred yards before he bedded down. Shot placement looked great but unfortunately the buck ended up getting up and moved another hundred yards or so before bedding back down. He was limping pretty bad. We gave him the night and went back the next morning. To our surprise he had moved another 200 yards or so and was bedded again. I believe he will live on. It's amazing how strong these animals are and their will to survive.
