While the official start of Spring Migration is still a week away, our usual migrants are already starting to show up. After hearing him sing his heart out for about 10 minutes I finally spotted this Eastern Phoebe in a tree behind our house and managed to get a few shots before he flew off.

Hope you had a lovely Valentine's day! I proposed to my wife on Valentine's day so
I wanted to share a couple photos I did of us on our 20th wedding anniversary in November. Also added their inspiration photos from our wedding (photo credit: Tiffany Perry) ❤️

Visited Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservations' Handfeed a Chickadee event and was not disappointed! In addition to Chickadees, White and Red Breasted Nuthatches and Titmice happily took Sunflower Seeds out of our hands, and some curious White Throated Sparrows, Dark Eyed Juncos, and Northern Cardinals got close. If you are interested in attending, the event takes place every Saturday and Sunday from 10-12 until the end of February!

This Friday I attended a Basketball Photography workshop with TCP Photography and Case Western Reserve Spartans as both the Men's and Women's team took on the NYU Athletics Violets. While neither game when the Spartans way (the Women's team gave the #1 ranked Violets, now winners of 82 straight games, a run for their money!) it was a great learning experience. While I am generally happy with the results, I switched to a wider lens too late and as such many photos had to be cropped at the knees or waist. As always, thanks to Tim Phillis of TCP Photography, the whole The Pixel Connection crew for putting the event together, and of course CWRU for hosting us!

Some of my usual visitors during a snow storm this morning. At one point I counted 32 birds on or trying to get a spot on the 4 feeders!
