Founded in Okinawa, Japan, Blue-Ryu Photo was conceived out of a passion for photography and youth sports. A life-long hobby slowly transformed into a prospering business when friends and parents of young athletes on our children's sports teams kept raving over my photos and asking for me to shoot for them. Those request began expanding to shooting for other teams, other sports, boys, girls, semi-

Baseball Photos from this weekend are ready!

I'm trying something new...we'll see how it goes. Basically, I created a dedicated album on my site, and then setup shopping/purchasing features so you can buy digitals, prints, and keepsakes directly from the album or photo, and you can do it from your computer, phone, or tablet.

As always, I do my very best to provide the best value anywhere (premium quality and great pricing), and I don't try to squeeze extra profits of you when you go to order prints. That said, I went and cut the recommended pricing heavily on most of the items (digitals, prints, & keepsakes), and especially cut the high-ticket items to just over cost.

I'd love to hear your feedback...setup, layout, pricing, etc.
I'll be working to cleanup the site, but for now, you can access the album(s) through Sports -> Baseball -> by Coach/Team, or you can go find it under collections. I hope this will provide a better experience for everyone. Thanks!

I was asked if I could create panoramic team/player compositions. I personally feel like there are better print options for cost-value. A 10x30" print alone after tax/shipping/processing fees comes out to ~$50 (does not include the actual photography, photo processing, time, or creating the panoramic photo). What do you all think? Would love some feedback.

Hey everyone! I'd like to share some of the leatherwork I've been doing. I started about two years ago, and have been steadily getting to where I'm finally pretty happy and confident with what I can produce. I am confident that it's much better quality than the majority of what I'm seeing available on the market. I'm still in the design phase on most of my products, and each iteration keeps getting better and more refined. Canes Southwest - Cypress 14U / Vasquez had a great time at their Rocker B Ranch baseball tournament and Possum Kingdom. Some experiences are bigger than baseball or the scoreboard, and this proved to be one of those trips.

My guy showed up this weekend to command the mound! He pitched 2 games for a combined 4.2 innings, faced 25 batters and tallied 7K's with 1 earned run. ⚾️🔥🔥🔥

What do ya'll think?! Pigeon Forge, TN or Gulf Shores, AL?

The Old Mill was really cool, and we forged knives with my son and some friends right next door at Iron Mountain Metal Craft, run by Mr. Robby Bowman (if you've seen the show "Forged in Fire"). It was an incredible experience, and the Smokey Mountains are beautiful! Dolleywood did not disappoint either...much bigger and better than expected, so we will definitely go back! We also found several distilleries, breweries, and wineries which were a lot of fun...lots of Moonshine in them hills! Unfortunately, we didn't see any bears on this trip, besides these yard ornaments, but maybe next time.
