We absolutely LOVED getting our flowers from ! The flowers were so beautiful and so fresh and smelled absolutely heavenly!💐 We loved that we got to pre-order but also that family members could purchase flowers and get a special bouquet as well! Our little dancer was showered in flowers and they're still so beautiful and sweet smelling days later🩰🎀💐🩷
Keep an eye out for Poppy Hour Flower Cart and definitely make sure you get your next order of flowers from them. I know I sure will!

●Sabinal, TX●

A tiny town similar to D'Hanis that was founded in 1854 by Thomas B. Hammer. Did you know Sabinal was originally established as Hammer's Station but in 1857 after Hammer was killed by bandits, the town was renamed Sabinal, which in Spanish is sabino that means cypress. The name was given to reference the cypress trees on the Sabinal river!

Medina County Museum
•Part 3•

This is the final part of our visit to the Medina County Museum! We got to look around in the D'Hanis Brick Factory Steam Engine Building! The history is incredible. There was special brick made in 1976 to celebrate 200 years. Guess what? This year, marks 250!! Bonnie mentioned seeing about getting another brick made for the 250th anniversary. I'd love to be a part of that if they had an event for it!

Another reminder that volunteers and donations would be very much appreciated for upkeep and restoration processes.

I can't wait to visit the museum again and my kids are already asking to go back.

Medina County Museum
•Part 2•

These are more of the buildings and things we saw at our visit to the Medina County Museum! We got to go inside the Southern Pacific Bay Window Caboose from 1964 and learn about how they operated it and the number of people they had there too! We were told they would love to restore the caboose. Wouldn't that be amazing?! They could really use some donations to help make that come true. The kids absolutely loved getting to climb into the caboose and look around and pretend to operate it!

Next was the Buggy Barn that had a buggy from 1912 in wonderful condition. Not to mention an old post office set up and other artifacts from historic Medina County. The Buggy Barn also has so much potential to have things restored and set up to be interactive, like the post office, with the proper donations and volunteer upkeep!

While walking to the next building we stopped to see the weather radar dish from 1957! It reminded me of Bob's Burgers when Tina and Sashmina try to make contact with aliens 👽

Then we went to the one room Henry Rothe Schoolhouse built in 1903 and moved to the museum in 1975. It contains multiple artifacts from several schoolhouses all over Medina County.
