A , , and family walk into a park in the Middle East…

The sun is bright,
the sky is blue,
three sweet families,
me and you.
One says “Shalom,”
one says “Salaam,”
one whispers “Peace,”
like a quiet calm.
Kippah, hijab,
little cross on a chain,
three different ways
to say the same name.
We race to the swings,
we slide, we climb,
no one cares
who prays what time.
We pass the ball,
we share our snacks,
your lunchbox traded
for my date packs.
Moms talk softly,
dads laugh loud,
grandmas watching
oh-so-proud.
Three ways to pray,
one place to play,
same blue sky
for every day.
If someone asks,
“What makes you three?”
We point to our hearts
and say:
“Family.” 🌳✨
