Sometimes, the most meaningful sessions aren't the ones planned months in advance. ❤️

A week ago, I received a message that stopped me in my tracks.

Last year, this sweet couple married in their living room after illness changed all of their wedding plans. There was no venue, no portraits, and the wedding dress never got its moment.

As they approached their first anniversary, they decided it wasn't too late to celebrate the love that carried them through it all.

So we met in their own backyard, surrounded by the places they call home, and captured the wedding portraits they never had.

Photography isn't always about documenting a day. Sometimes it's about giving someone a piece of their story they thought they had missed forever.

The flowers are blooming and the fields at The Farm at Daffodil Hill in Clarkesville are looking absolutely gorgeous! Between the colorful zinnias, rolling pastures, rustic farm charm, and beautiful countryside views, there are so many perfect spots for senior portraits.

A little sneak peek moment because I couldn’t keep these to myself 🎓💛

From a surprise planned by mom to a full-on main character moment… this session was everything. So proud of this beautiful lady for earning her Associate’s Degree and stepping into her next season with confidence.

Also… can we talk about this view AND this smile? Yeah, I’m not over it. 😍
