But in all seriousness, Gayla and Gilbert’s love is something special and you could genuinely feel it all day long. The kind of love that feels tangible, in the way they looked at each other, laughed together, and were completely present in every moment.

Hey hey hey friends!! 👋🏼💙

It feels like it’s been FOREVER since I’ve popped on here with a little life/business update, so… hi. I’m still here. 😂

There has been a really beautiful shift happening with Taylor Cook & Co and honestly, in my life in general.

Spring & summer were SO good to my business. ✨ I got to photograph some beautiful weddings, but I’m now stepping back from wedding photography and limiting myself to 5 weddings per year. I’m also keeping family, maternity, & branding sessions limited, while taking on up to 12 wedding films per year through my videography team. 🎥💙

And can we talk about my lead videographer?! He is absolutely KILLING IT. 😭👏🏼 We’ve been creating some BEAUTIFUL wedding films lately. SHOUTOUT TO Dewey Drollinger !!! 👏🏼🎥‼️‼️

Behind the scenes, life has been a little harder. I’m keeping that part private for now, but this season has really shifted my perspective on how I want to spend my days and what I want my life to feel like. 🙏🏻

I’m learning I don’t want to live in hustle mode or burn myself out trying to do ALL the things. I want my business to support my life, not take it over.

So I’m slowing down. 💙

I’m leaning HARD into intentional living, balance, and making room for work that lights me up. Alongside photography, I now have two social media management clients and I’m leaning more into UGC & creating content for brands. You’ll probably start seeing more of that here soonish!! 😂

And… photography education is coming in the future! 📸💙 Think templates, guides & resources to help photographers build a thriving business that supports the LIFE they want to live. 🥰

So… lots of changes and lots of learning. And maybe the biggest lesson of all lately?

You can grow your business without constantly running yourself into the ground‼️

You can change your mind. Slow down. Try something new. Build a business that fits your LIFE instead of making your life fit your business. And that’s where I’m at right now. 🥹💙

I’m really excited for this next chapter of Taylor Cook & Co and even more excited to actually enjoy it along the way.

There’s something so sweet about documenting a family right where life is actually happening..... in the quiet corners of your home, with sleepy newborn stretches, soft snuggles, and the moments you’ll want to remember long after this season fades.

Danielle & Omid welcomed their sweet baby Dean, and being invited into their home felt like witnessing the beginning of a legacy. 🥹 These are the images their children and grandchildren will hold someday. The proof of how deeply they were loved from the very start.
