School is back in session, life has gotten a little crazy and I realized I’ve been slacking over here 😅

So here’s a little reminder of why I love this gig so much.

It’s so much more than taking pictures. It’s getting to be part of so many different seasons of life, meeting people who somehow become friends, hearing the stories behind the moments I’m documenting, exploring all the new places and giving people photographs they can hold onto forever.

One day, these won’t just be photos of the people standing beside you on your wedding day.

They’ll be photos of the friends who made you laugh, the people who showed up for you, and the ones you wanted right there with you as you started this new chapter.

So yes, we’ll get the pretty & posed photos. But we’re also going to laugh, be a little silly and have fun!

As this wise senior told me, she wants to be able to look back at these photos one day and see who she was. Even if the person she becomes ten years from now is completely different.

And that’s exactly what I want your senior session to do: capture who you are right now!

When you book a senior session with me, you’ll receive a questionnaire that gets you thinking about the things that make you who you are and what you might want to incorporate into your session.

Athlete? Bring the jersey.
Musician? Bring the instrument.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually like being in front of my camera… 😂

A little peek behind the scenes because there’s a whole lot more going on than just clicking the shutter.

There will probably be some awkward prompts, lots of laughing, me fixing your hair/dress at least 10 times and me getting way too excited when the light is just right (*cue happy dance and possible squeal*).

But at the end of the day, I want you to feel comfortable, have fun and receive photos that capture the real you.
