I guess it’s time I properly introduce myself…
Hi, I’m Megan - the face behind the camera at Lia May Photography.
Before the camera, before the business, before any of this…I was just a mom who didn’t want to forget.
Life moves fast. Faster than anyone prepares you for. One minute you’re holding your babies, and the next you’re wondering when everything changed. Somewhere in the middle of that, I picked up a camera - not because I had it all figured out, but because I needed to hold onto something.
What started as “just taking pictures” turned into something a lot deeper. Photography became the way I tell stories…the real ones. The in-between moments. The chaos. The love that isn’t always perfect, but is always yours.
Now I get to do that for other people - and I don’t take that lightly.
I’m a mom of five, building a life here in Arizona, pouring everything I have into this dream and into every session I take on. When you book with me, you’re not just getting photos - you’re getting someone who genuinely cares about capturing your story the way it deserves to be remembered.
