In the last few years since becoming a Navy wife, I've struggled to find my calling. I worked as a substitute teacher, a personal trainer, and doggie daycare attendant. I then became a momma to the most beautiful baby girl named Reina. I've been lucky enough to spend the first year of Reina's life at home with her, never missing a moment. However, during this time I was also searching for somethin

g I could do, something I could work on, and something I could build. One day I was cleaning out the closet and found our camera we bought a few years back. And like a lightbulb going off in my head I knew I wanted to pursue photography! After hours of online education and practice shoots with my family and friends, I feel ready to announce that I am starting my own photography business! I am beyond excited to pursue something that gives me creative independence, allows me to contribute to our family financially, and (something I'm really excited about) it allows me to work with you! I love meeting and working with new people and capturing special moments in time. And now I'm ready to capture those moments for you!

You don’t need a perfectly coordinated wardrobe.
You don’t need everyone smiling at the camera at the same time.

You just need this season.

The loud one.
The clingy one.
The giggly, snack-needing, always-moving season.

Family sessions with me are light, playful, and completely low stress. We move, we laugh, we take breaks, and we let kids be kids. The magic always happens in between the “planned” moments anyway 🤍

Behind the camera is where I’m most comfortable… but every once in a while, I make sure to step in front of it too. 📷

As photographers, it’s easy to forget what our clients feel like during a session—the nerves, the vulnerability, the “what do I do with my hands?” moments. Being on the other side reminds me how important it is to create a space where people feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen.

Getting my own photos taken helps me stay empathetic, patient, and intentional with every person I photograph. Because this experience isn’t just about beautiful images—it’s about how you feel while they’re being created. ✨

To my fellow photographers: don’t forget to step in front of the camera sometimes. It’s one of the best ways to grow.
