Sticky kisses, wild giggles, grass-stained knees, and underneath it all, a steady, fierce kind of love that reflects the heart of God so clearly.

It’s families like this that remind me why I do what I do: to pause time just long enough to hold onto the good stuff: the joy, the chaos, the sacred ordinary of family bonds.

So grateful to know them, and even more grateful to witness their story unfold. 🤍

I still can’t believe it… but my story was featured in Magazine! 🥹✨

This little business of mine started two years ago with more heart than experience, and to see it now, rooted in love, faith, growth, and the most incredible people, it leaves me speechless (which, let’s be real, doesn’t happen often 😅).

Hi, I’m Jen, the heart & hands behind Phileo Photo Co. ✨📸

If you’re new here, I’m so glad you found your way. I’m a photographer based in Oregon, traveling wherever love leads. My work is rooted in faith, intention, and a deep love for the moments that often go unnoticed: the quiet glances, the laughter between vows, the way your little one reaches for your hand without thinking.

“Phileo” is a Greek word found in the Bible, it means brotherly love, the kind that binds communities together with warmth, empathy, and deep care. That’s the heartbeat of this brand: to serve others with that kind of love, to preserve stories with reverence, and to offer photos that still mean everything decades from now.

Whether it’s an intimate elopement, a barefoot adventure, or a slow Sunday morning with your family, my hope is that these images become treasures you hold close for a lifetime.

I aim for presence. The kind that captures how it felt, not just how it looked. The kind of photos that grow more valuable with time.

At the roots, there is love.

Beneath the branches of the Tree of Life, I saw it clearly—
how mothers are made of both soil and sky.
They reach, like limbs stretching toward the light,
while holding everything steady at the ground.

In the hush of small moments—
a hand brushing back hair,
a quiet glance that says “I see you”—
and in the great, echoing ones—
first breaths, first steps, first heartbreaks—
there she is.
Enduring. Nourishing. Becoming.

To all the mothers, the ones who gave us life,
and the ones who helped us grow—
thank you for being the roots, the trunk,
the canopy of love we live beneath.
