I can’t thank you all enough for being the backbone of my small business in 2023! Let me share a bit of my journey and how CapturedbyQuel Photography was formed.
At the beginning of 2023, I found myself submerged in the depths of depression and grief. Behind the smiles and laughter, I carried the weight of internal struggles, carefully hidden to keep going for my children.
However, in April, a pivotal moment unfolded when a friend asked me to capture her graduation photos. After abandoning my camera for over a year, self-doubt loomed large. Yet, despite the insecurities I harbored, God's divine push was all I needed to spark a rekindling in something I once enjoyed.
During that single photoshoot, I rediscovered the love and passion I once had for the craft. Photography quickly became a source of profound joy, a therapeutic escape from the darkness that had enveloped me. It transcended beyond mere pictures; it became about finding solace, peace, and joy in the act of creation.
