M Christopher Holloway Photography Wedding and Portrait Photographer I am a wedding and portrait photographer. Simply stated, I am a photographer of people. I love photographing people.

Nothing fascinates me more than the human face. Like a fingerprint, each one is different. Unlike the fingerprint, each face exudes an infinite number of expressions, emotions, gestures, subtle and marvelous. My passion is capturing these ever changing subtleties. My images are a fusion of light, color and gesture that capture the essence of the person and the moment. I work on location and in studio using natural and artificial lighting technique.

Sixty years ago this week,, May 25, 1965, the great Neil Leifer took this photo of Muhammad Ali knocking down Sonny Liston just 1 minute and 44 seconds into their title bout. Many consider it the best sports photo ever taken.

The rest of the story: Herb Scharfman was senior photographer at Sports Illustrated. He is the bald guy between Ali's legs. He he had 1st dibs on ringside position and left 22 year old Neil Leifer a less desirable corner spot on the other side. OOPS. The guy with mouth agape behind him is future HBO analyst Larry Merchant.
