What is photography?
To me, it is to capture the moment as it is. Lighting, viewpoint, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, framing, lens flare, defects, occasional bird in the frame, people in the background, social context. They are all part of the moment.
Anything else I would call it, artistic creation based on a photograph.
