I love when a client says they want a more urban feel for their family session!

Myles turns four soon and Sutton just turned one, so mom said it was finally time for their FIRST family photos. We wandered around the Flower Mound River Walk, bribed Myles with plenty of marshmallows, and got Sutton giggling with all the toe tickles.

Five years already?!

I got to hang out with Tara and Ignacio at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens for their anniversary photos, and it was such a full-circle moment. I photographed their wedding back in 2020 right in the middle of COVID and it’s wild to think how much life has changed since then.

They are truly the 'perfect client' because they totally embrace my quirky sense of humor (which makes my job way easier 😂).

We wrapped things up downtown at the Fort Worth courthouse, playing in the street and timing the lights just right to dodge traffic....totally worth it for those shots!

One of my favorite things about this job is getting to see my couples again, catching up, and photographing new chapters of their lives. Here’s to five years (and many more to come)! 🥂

Can we talk about how a location can make or break a senior session? We were looking for something a little different than the typical 'field' for this Grapevine High School senior. Mandalay Canal Walk in Las Colinas did not disappoint. The cobblestone paths, stone bridges, and water reflections made it feel like we were shooting in Europe for sure. This was definitely one of my favorite sessions! Finding locations that feel like you're in a 'different world' are everything!
