I shot my first wedding last weekend and by the end of the night I was saying “I’m never doing another wedding” bc I was so stressed and felt so much pressure to do great the whole day. I mean I was taking WEDDING pictures. The ONCE IN A LIFETIME KIND OF PICS, so yeah I put loads of pressure on myself AND didn’t walk in confidence (I was doing doubles on my phone in case the ones on my camera didn’t turn out good LOL).
But, I would probably do it all over again for this family (and this family only) because they hold such a special place in my heart. They’ve known me since I was in 8th grade and somehow, someway still tolerate me. I always explain them as my “God family” bc that’s what they are, my God given family. This wedding day wouldn’t of happen if they hadn’t said yes to foster care and adoption. This wedding day wouldn’t of happen if they hadn’t decided to open up their home and their lives to kids of all ages just to love on them and offer them a safe place. They adopted Hailey when she was 16 and now here we are, on her WEDDING DAY! I’m so thankful for their yes and I know there are so many others out there that could say the same. Hailey, you were a beautiful bride and I’m sorry I made this post all about your parents. Still love u tho.
