Even in the slower seasons, we still make time to learn.

One of the best ways we keep the creative juices flowing is by attending photography workshops, trying new techniques, and stepping into spaces that challenge us creatively. It reminds us why we fell in love with photography in the first place.

When business slows down, it doesn’t always mean stop. Sometimes it’s an opportunity to grow, get inspired again, and come back refreshed with new energy and ideas for our clients.

The truth is, creativity needs to be fed too.

We never want to create from burnout or autopilot. Workshops, community, and continuing education help keep us energized, inspired, and excited every time we pick up the camera. Shout out to for creating these workshops for creatives to work on new lighting techniques and being able to meet new creatives in the industry. 🫱🏾‍🫲🏻

The details matter.

Corporate events don’t just happen. Teams spend months planning signage, branding, activations, stage design, attendee experiences, sponsor moments, and every little touchpoint in between.

As photographers, it’s our job to document more than the people in the room. We’re there to capture the full experience.

There’s something different about an event when people don’t have to wait for the experience to continue…

At the 2026 DFW Brain & Tumor Walk/Run, we used and the reaction said everything.

Participants received their photos instantly.
Not later that night. Not days after the event.
Right. Then!

Phones were buzzing with notifications, smiles got even bigger, and people were sharing their moments in real time.

And here’s the part that stood out most to us…….Not a single person asked us to take a photo on their phone.

Because they didn’t need to.

Every moment was already being captured, delivered, and ready to share without interrupting the experience.

This is what event photography should feel like:
