I’m Stephanie. Dallas-based wedding photographer, 90s R&B-on-repeat kind of girl 🎶 and someone who absolutely cannot watch just one episode of anything (my husband has opinions about this). I grew up on classic Disney: Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast hit different when you’re a military kid who needed a little magic, and I’ve since graduated to Game of Thrones, Gossip Girl, Schitt’s Creek, and Power. In no particular order. Simultaneously, probably with room service on speed dial.
I’m also a mom of two — a spirited three-year-old and a brand new two-month-old who has already rearranged my entire life in the best way.
I became a photographer because photos were my anchors growing up. A way to hold onto people and places when life kept moving. That perspective never left me — it just found a home in the work I get to do for couples on one of the most significant days of their lives.
So yes, I know my timelines and I know my shot list. But I also know what it feels like to want to hold a moment forever. 🫶🏼

So excited to be in the city this weekend for M + W’s wedding, and if this lobby is any indication of how the rest of the day is going to feel, we are in for something really special.

Did my venue scout this morning and the stopped me in my tracks. There’s something about a space that is such a breath of fresh air. No fuss. No overstatement. Just clean, intentional, beautiful bones that make every frame feel effortless before the couple even walks in.

There are seasons of life that feel anything but extraordinary. Lately, mine has looked like [nap trap o’clock], cold coffee, and a to-do list that keeps winning.
And then I get to show up on a wedding day.
The shift is something I’ll never take for granted. One moment I’m just a person, navigating the ordinary. The next, I’m standing in a room where every detail was chosen with intention, every face carries a different kind of love for the two people at the center of it all — and I have one chance to hold all of that with care.
The ordinary actually makes me better at this. It reminds me why these moments matter so much. Why presence isn’t something I can phone in. Why I take this seriously, every single time.

When I’m scouting venues or mapping out a wedding day, I’m looking up, checking sightlines, identifying vantage points most photographers won’t bother with. Stairs offer natural leading lines. The overhead perspective shows the full impact of your dress, the train, the way you move through space. It’s architectural and intimate at once. This isn’t me climbing things for the aesthetic—it’s strategic positioning that captures angles you’ll never see at eye level. The effort is invisible. The result isn’t.
