I finally got to meet this sweet, sweet boy from New England yesterday. Seeing one of my favorite people in the world get to be his mama is a gift, truly.

Erin and I met when my kiddos were born, and have walked with each other through SO many major ups and downs in each other's lives in the past twelve years...

She's loved our kids with all her heart and given me endless support as a mom, offering so much wisdom and encouragement even before she became a mom herself, (and during so many years when she wasn't sure if she'd ever get to experience that role herself.) She has no shortage of siblings and nieces and nephews, but she still loves us like family and I'm beyond grateful to celebrate this most joyous of ups in her life.

We love Linus so much already. It brought me so much happiness to take a few photos of her with her boy, and I can't wait to see them again. ❤️

It may already be over a week into the new year, but I had to share some favorites of 2022. You may have noticed I didn't post very often throughout the year, but that wasn't for lack of plenty of images! Still figuring out the grad school/photography business/mom life balance, and regular Instagram posts were definitely first to get cut last year. Hoping to be able to keep up a little better in 2023 because trying to decide which photos to share after so much time has passed is too hard! I'll be sharing more favorites from 2022 over the next few days, along with updates about booking sessions for 2023. 🖤 Here's to a gracious, kind, and joy filled new year!

So I know I've posted two recent weddings and I'm not actually shooting weddings anymore (mostly). But when a friend and neighbor (and talented photographer+designer!) asks you to document his wedding day with several of your favorite neighbor+client+fellow vendors, you can't say no. At least I can't.

Melissa and Zach literally could not stop smiling or take their eyes off each other all day. Their joy was contagious and I was honored to be part of celebrating the beginning of their marriage!
