Some sessions are about the moment.
Some sessions are about the years that led up to it.
Iāve been photographing the Diggs family since 2019, and one of the greatest gifts this job has given me is the opportunity to watch families grow through the seasons of life. Iāve photographed family sessions, senior sessions, milestones, and memories for this family for years.
I watched Addie grow from a freshman on my senior rep team into the incredible young woman she is today. Iāve had the privilege of photographing Peyton and Reagan through their high school years as well, and getting to know this family has been one of the sweetest parts of my journey as a photographer.
So when Katherine reached out and told me Cody was planning to propose during their family session, I was honored to be part of it.
Getting to witness the surprise, the excitement, the happy tears, and the beginning of a brand-new chapter was something Iāll never forget.
This is why I love what I do.
Not because of the photos themselves, but because of the relationships behind them. The trust. The years. The opportunity to walk alongside families and help preserve the moments that matter most.
