No judgment at all, just a little shoot education.

When you see a photo you love, the photographer is a big part of it, but the full result usually comes from preparation too.

Outfit, makeup, hair, styling, location, mood, and direction all work together to create the final image.

You don’t have to spend the most money. You just have to be intentional.

The best thing you can do before a shoot is communicate your vision early, ask questions, plan your look, and let your photographer guide you through the process.

That’s how we create something that feels polished, personal, and timeless.

Luxury maternity, but make it rich chocolate goddess energy 🤎

For Datblackwoman maternity shoot, the vision was clear — create something editorial, elegant, dramatic, and timeless.

She came with multiple looks, including a brown set and a white set, and as always, she gave me the creative freedom to bring the vision to life. For the brown look, we used chocolate satin to create movement, depth, and that rich goddess feel. Sometimes the magic is really in the details — the fabric, the styling, the direction, the trust, and the timing.

For the white look, we kept it clean and soft while still giving it that luxury editorial feel. Every setup had its own personality, but everything still felt connected.

Shot on my Canon R5 with my 50mm and 85mm, this session was all about intentional posing, beautiful light, and creating images that feel bigger than just maternity photos.

We also had the honor of documenting Coco’s baby shower, and seeing some of these maternity photos used in the event design made the whole experience even more special.

This is what happens when the client trusts the process and the vision comes together from shoot to celebration.

What a beautiful and rewarding Pre wedding shoot day at The Mason Dallas

From the very first pose to the final shot, the goal was simple, capture their love in a way that feels soft, intentional, and timeless. I directed them through walking moments, close-up poses, forehead touches, nose-to-nose shots, and all the little details that make wedding portraits feel personal and emotional.

Days like this can be long, but when the couple trusts the process and the team is locked in, everything comes together so beautifully.
