IN JANUARY I PLAY.

I really do enjoy a little bit of a slow down. Capturing Emma over Christmas break and waiting to edit her allowed me just a little time to play with some digital creativity. I try to shoot to perfection in camera so my time isn't spent at a computer screen but sometimes it's fun to challenge myself.

During the season of anticipation and hope we find our family filled with our own special joy coming in May 2026.

There's something so incredibly special about capturing your own baby as she anticipates becoming a mother herself. I thank God every single day for these moments of perfect in an imperfect world. This Grammy is beyond blessed.

Wow, what a season it has been and I cannot think of a better way to wrap up my fall editing than with this adorable and kind family.

To everyone who has supported my little business this year and over the last 24 years my heart is SO full. Next year is the official TWENTY FIVE year since I purchased my first "professional" camera (film) and established Dawn's Photography. It sure has been a grand ride and the best decision I ever made.
