One of our favorite parts of photography is being allowed into someone’s home to capture amazing life events. Today we got to meet Maggie, 13 days new and just as cute as can be. We were lucky enough to photograph her big sister a few years ago as well. Lucy (in the pink headband) told us today that she remembered her newborn session (🤣) and was so helpful with helping us setup for Maggie’s session. Even though the world looks a bit different than it did a few years ago, there is so much beauty and love out there, these girls reminded us of that today.

Sometimes in life you just meet people who you “click” with and who you know are going to do great things. These two have brought some light into a very difficult year and are expecting their first beautiful baby.
The morning we did their maternity session followed a long night of wind and rain, but the sun blessed us and the love and adoration was palpable. Dani and Tyler, we are so excited for you and thank you for allowing us a small part in your beautiful journey 💜

Masks, camera, action! 📸

Did you know we can do photo shoots while socially distancing? We want to take advantage of these beautiful days and capture some moments for you and your family. We are open for outdoor photography for small families and will be strictly following masking and sanitizing practices. We are sorry (trust me, SO sorry 😢) we cannot do newborn sessions at this time but are happy to photograph you with your baby from a distance.

This is my beautiful cousin Annabelle. This morning we started our Mother’s Day out by photographing Annie and her amazing little family. Annie made her beautiful flower crown, which holds a VERY special meaning:
Mother’s Day brings different emotions for different people. Love, unconditional sacrifice, joy, selflessness.... but sometimes also pain, heartache and sorrow. Almost one year ago, Annie and Ben lost their baby boy Ollie. He was stillborn. As part of his memory, they planted a rose bush for Ollie. The wonderful white roses in her crown are from Ollie’s rose bush, reminding us that Ollie is always here with us, just not in the way we all would have hoped.
I am in awe of Annie’s ability to make others shine around her, to make others feel comfortable with speaking about Oliver.
Annabelle Goodwin, we can’t wait to meet baby girl next month ❤️❤️

These two..... One full year of love, milestones, fun, and growth... We have absolutely been blessed with amazing clients and friends. It’s times like these that make us reflect on how lucky we are to have families trust us so much with capturing these moments. Moments that will be lasting memories in the form of a photograph.
