I want to express my utmost gratitude to everyone who has supported me the past few months while getting my photography up and running again. I cannot describe to you the warm and fuzzies I get when you share photos that I have captured.

I've been doing this since 2011, and the magnitude of capturing a moment in time for all eternity has always captivated me, but there is just something about sports photography that gives me such exhilaration, much the same as the few weddings I've done. Weddings are an entirely different beast, and aside from family, I'm not interested in shooting them anymore due to the pressureand stress that comes with it, but the thrill you get from knowing that you have one shot, that if you miss it, it's gone forever and try as you might, you can never recreate that moment, that is what makes it exciting for me. That same thrill is there in sports action photography. Honestly, I've missed a lot more moments than I've captured, and I'm constantly learning and training to get better, but I'm crazy proud of many of the moments I have captured.

Photography is a perfect mix of lighting, focus, composition, and subject and any one of those elements being off can ruin an image. With portraits, even with newborns, you have time to set these up and reshoot if one is off, but with sports action, you are doing all of these often in less than a second. It's the drag racing of the photography world.

All that to say, thank you all so so much for your support. You can't possibly know how much it means to me.
