Van Berkum Photography Over 20 years experience. Studio is located in Danville, CA. Two years spent in England as a teenager further inspired her to follow her artistic instincts.

Christy’s visual and creative talent was apparent from a very young age and was encouraged by parents, who appreciate and celebrate the arts. After graduating from California State University in San Luis Obispo with a degree in Photography, Christy began her career as a professional photographer. She is an award-winning photographer and is an active member of various professional photographers ass

ociations in California. Today, Christy serves clients from her Danville, California studio where she specializes in creating portraits which capture the unique personality of her subjects. She positions her subjects in creative ways that are believable and relaxed, and takes the time on details such as setting, lighting and props to arrive at the combination that most flatters the individual. Clients appreciate the personal attention and have described her approach as “fun, fresh, and insightful.”
