Let's face it: there's almost no chance that I could tell you everything about me in one paragraph, and there's an even lesser chance that you'd know me any better having read it. I love the look of my daughter and son's hair at 6:15 in the morning, and I love the smell of coffee at 6:19. I love the little corner of the world my husband (college sweetheart) and I have carved for ourselves in Bainb

ridge Island, WA. I love to sing, and I guess I'm supposed to love it when my kids give their honest feedback about my singing. I also love taking pictures, and though I wished I had realized it earlier on in the game, I know that taking pictures is what I'm supposed to do. I hope my love for it makes itself clear in the frames of my portfolio, and I look forward to sharing it with you and the ones you love.

Hello Bainbridge Islanders!

I wanted to introduce myself and my business to you. I own Kate Kelly Photography and have been photographing families and events for over 10 years. My family and I moved to the island last spring and I feel very grateful to be part of this community.

If you are interested in a family photo shoot I would love to hear from you! I'm available for local mini sessions in April and May.
I'm also open to collaborating with local businesses, meeting with fellow photographers and working as 2nd shooter for events and weddings.

So looking forward to meeting more families on the island!

Did you know there are coyotes in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park!? I had no idea, but found out this past weekend when one trotted right by me during a family mini session. Needless to say we steered clear and let the coyote on its way. Apparently the presence of urban coyotes can be found in cities all across the United States. Crazy!
