A year ago, I would have fought to hold on.

To the client.
To the opportunity.
To the relationship.
To the version of my life that felt familiar.

Now I’ve learned that not everything is meant to stay.

Some people enter our lives to teach us something.
Some opportunities show us what we’re capable of.
Some seasons stretch us, challenge us, and prepare us for what’s next.

And sometimes the hardest thing isn’t losing them.

It’s trusting that their purpose has already been fulfilled.

Lately, I’ve been learning that growth often looks like letting go.

Not because something was bad.
Not because it wasn’t meaningful.

But because I’ve become someone who no longer needs what once helped me grow.

The truth is, every ending creates space.

Space for better opportunities.
Space for healthier relationships.
Space for the version of yourself you’ve been working so hard to become.

What I once saw as a loss, I now see as a lesson.

And for that, I’m grateful. ✨

Last week I did a thing. ☺️

Teaching a workshop on camera confidence felt a little ironic because stepping in front of the camera has been just as much of a journey for me as it has been for many of my clients.

It was an honor to share what I’ve learned about showing up authentically, creating content with purpose, and building a personal brand people connect with.

We also wrapped up the day with complimentary branding portraits. As a branding photographer, I wanted to create something a little more personal than a traditional headshot and help attendees walk away with images that felt like them.

One of my favorite reminders from the workshop:

⭐️ People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with authenticity.

Here’s to showing up, even when it’s outside your comfort zone. 👏🏽
