It's National Volunteer Week!!!

Today we would like to highlight and thank our volunteer photographers who serve our families at their darkest hours by capturing precious details of their sweet babies. You may be feeling anger, hurt, betrayed by God over the passing of your child. You may be questioning how a loving God could allow this to happen.

Guess what?

That’s ok! God can take your hurt, your anger towards him. He understands. He grieves along with you. He hurts over the death of your baby, of every baby. Of every life lost.

Let all the feelings you are feeling happen without shame, without shoving them away. You are processing everything, every emotion, every hurt.

God is there with you whether you acknowledge Him or not. He is there waiting for you, ready to support, console, encourage.

Since the beginning of 2023, which was only 14 days ago, we have served six families…..4 occurring in a 24 hour time span.

Our hearts are grieving with these families. Our hearts hurt for all of the families we ever serve. No parent should ever have to bury their child. We hope that what our team at The Haven provides is of some small comfort.

Please pray for the families we serve. Pray for their hearts to be comforted, for them to know they are loved and supported by a huge community.

Please for our team here at The Haven as they serve each family with love and all they have.

You are not alone. You have a community of people praying and supporting you. Know you are loved.

Sometimes in the moment we don’t realize how time flies. We dont print because its an investment, or you weren’t sure about your extra 10lbs, or like this momma they where in the middle of a remodel and she just didn’t know. Life gets away from us, it happens.

This is one of the reasons I have been revamping the client experience to make sure you never have to not know because I am always here to help you.

When this little miss’s mom booked their family session with me she expressed her regrets about not printing her daughters newborn session I photographed almost three years ago, realizing how much she had grown.

I am so happy we could not only capture the current chapter in their lives and they ordered some amazing art pieces but that they finally able to get some of their faves printed from their newborn session to display in their home 😍
