Today was a very special day! I had the honor of photographing this very sweet family at the adoption of their two oldest children...we have had a front row seat to this beautiful journey as we are direct neighbors with them, and our kids have grown up together over the last several years. All three of their littles were once in the foster system but they are now officially a family forever! ... When we moved here 6 yrs ago, little did we know the amazing work and blessings God had planned for us all!

I get very excited as spring and colors come back to life after a long winter... My neighbors probably don't care for our "natural" yard full of dandelions, but they sure do make the bees and bunnies happy 😁....I also love searching around for little bits of color to bring inside... From tiny violets in the grass, wild geraniums in our "woods", forget-me-nots, vinca vines, wall flowers that showed up for the first time in the flower beds, honeysuckle branches, and more.... I can't wait for summer flowers, and Misty can't wait to cause more trouble 😺!
