It was so cool getting to do my nephew's senior photos. It's been a privilege watching him grow into the really awesome young man he's becoming. He's got a great taste in music, wicked dry sense of humor and he's incredibly smart. I'm proud of him! And he didn't complain once about having his photos taken and he indulged his crazy aunts ideas and posing suggestions! I love how these turned out.

I loved getting the opportunity to make this beautiful woman feel like her most gorgeous self! Still loving these snow senior photos! I love my seniors! They are always some of my most fun and creative shoots I get to do. I love seeing each individual personality come through their images.

I took this photo 3 years ago after a tornado had just gone past my old house in Tipp City, OH. It was such a powerful moment, seeing such beauty and calm immediately after such destruction and darkness had just been there.... I always say, to me, photography is the art of finding the beauty of everyday life. There are wonders all around us. We just have to look for them. This photo always reminds me to look for the beautiful moments after the dark ones. I hope it inspires you to look for them as well.
