Womanhood is not one story. It never has been.

It’s not one path, one role, one timeline, one version of success, or one definition of strength. It is a thousand different lives and experiences unfolding at once.

It’s the woman building a business from scratch, and the woman rebuilding her life quietly behind closed doors.

It’s the woman raising children, and the woman choosing not to.

The woman healing. The woman surviving.
The woman starting over again for the fifth time. The woman who is still trying to figure out who she is becoming.

It’s the laughter shared between friends over wine. The tears cried alone in the car after a hard day. The bravery it takes to speak up. And the equal bravery it takes to walk away.

Womanhood lives in resilience.

In tenderness.

In intuition.

In rage.

In softness.

In reinvention.

There is no singular way to be a woman in this world. And maybe that’s the most powerful truth of all. Happy International Women’s Day. 💕

I know that the year isn’t over quite yet, but I was sitting in this moment today.

What a year it truly has been. 2025 came with monumental highs and challenges all the same. A year of vulnerability, softening, slowing down in some areas…speeding up in others. New life and loss.

As I get older I am learning that life is simply that way. Both ends of the spectrum can exist on the same day, at the same time. And often do.

I often sit in rooms where I find myself entangled with stories and memories from your lives. Truly, nothing makes me feel luckier or more grateful. To share a day, a hug, a moment, a milestone with so many of you. To be let into the crevices of your lives and come out of it a little bit changed. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to re-learn and experience love in this way in my adult life.

This year gave new meaning to my life and the pursuit that I am on. It’s like finally getting to the moment you realize how much all of this truly matters. Living, loving, leaving little stories along the way. Your Tuesdays matter just as much as the biggest boxes you will check in your lives. Slow down. Don’t rush to the end, because so much of the good stuff is right now. Even on the hard days there are little bits of matter that are worth framing in our minds and hearts for the story along the way.

With the most grateful heart, thank you for filling mine and adding words and photos to my pages.

There will be days that stick with you long after they end. This being a prime example. I often like to ask “How do you want your day to feel?” instead of “How do you want your day to look?” because many things determine how a wedding day presents itself, but when it feels right…that’s where magic happens. Often we should ask, why are we having this day at all? And build *everything* from that. Give yourself time to be immersed in your day. In the moment with your people. This is the result. From the moment I met Jewel and Blake it was easy to tell that they were both shining gems in this human lifetime. It was no surprise that their day and their people were a direct extension of that. I fail to have words adequate of expressing what it means to have little invites into your lives. I am forever grateful that you share all of this love with me and allow me the opportunity of documenting and preserving it.
