Driving along the Natchez Trace in Alabama the other day. It was a rainy, hazy drive so not the best quality. I could not pass on trying to get a shot at the turkeys across a field.

Menninger Sanitarium and Psychopathic Hospital abandon 2003

The list of creepy places I have been is pretty long. I have also been to Topeka multiple times and just learned of this place. During my research over the past week, I have learned this place services several known Hollywood stars, politicians and worked for the CIA. It was also known to have had a role in the failed MK Ultra program. Very interesting reading if you are interested.

10 minutes in the backyard can produce results. I finally had really good success with my 1.4x telecoverter on my 200mm-600mm lens. This female cardinal is one of the best shots, I have made since switching to the Sony platform.

My bald and golden eagles did not turn out as well as I wished. They were way off in the distance. We stumbled onto a flock of turkey hens. The seagulls well, they just hangout and wait for food.

I was really upset my bald and golden eagle flying together did not turn out better. It was amazing to see.

These were along the Mississippi River in MO and IL.
