Good morning, sunshines!

It was widely requested by Class of 2027 to bring back themed minis! I posted a sneak peek announcement in my story yesterday!

In case you didn’t see, I will post the schedule below. Each themed mini will open a month before for booking. The date, time, price and venues will be announced at that time as well. Some will be more expensive than others depending on the cost of the venue.

June and July - sunflower minis

September- we are going to the beach!!!

October - highly requested TVE, please get me your showing schedule so I can try to be there

November- Western/Ranch - this is the most beautiful piece of property, you don’t have to be or dress western to shoot there. Grassy areas, ponds, amazing sunsets, sometimes even hay bales to jump.

February- I’m am going to rent a multi room studio in Houston

March/April - these are the greenhouse/garden minis at my property. I will be planting new surprises this year that should be in full swing by spring.

You don’t need to do anything now except sign up when you see the announcement. Beach details will be announced in August after you all have gotten back to school and are situated for the roller coaster ride of senior year! 🩷

I want to build my Sportrait portfolio this summer. I am offering ONE session from each sport for half price.

What is a Sportrait session?

It's a custom, specialty sports session that includes complex lighting techniques, fog/smoke, colorful lights, and lots of advanced techniques to elevate your sports images.

I am looking to build my portfolio with these, so I am looking for one session per sport to shoot this summer. I REALLY want to work with someone in the Marching Band, a color guard that does streamers, a female golfer and a track hurdler. I will consider deeper discount or even a large print for these specific sports.

What are the requirements?
1. Be the first to claim your specific sport
2. Ensure that you can get your uniform, jersey or other attire worn by your sport
3. SUPER IMPORTANT : You must be able to get us access to your field, course, gym, locker room, track, court, etc. For regular sessions I will go through all I need to for access, but for discounted sessions, the client is responsible for contacting the AD or the Coach or whatever the formal process is to access the facilty. Please do not sign up until you are sure we can get access to your location.

You do not have to be a senior to claim the sport. I don't mind photographing littles. We have a lot of fun in these and the babes can be so extra in these.

You can always purchase a regular session instead of a sport session. This is only for the advanced and complex techniques.

Whew, yall.

I took a little break (and it’s been glorious). I promise I do have all of the themed 2027 senior sessions and stuff for the Sportraits coming soon. I just need a quick reset and some summer days with the kids.

While I finish up on those things, if you don’t know, I make my clients little TikTok videos. I am slightly behind because of the break I took, but I’ve been making “commercials” for the kids with their parents for a while now. It’s so fun, the kids love it, the parents are always willing to capture the footage and the videos are as fun as the pictures. If you’re on that app, go check them out.

SUMMER SPECIAL!

I promised some budget friendly summer specials, so let's kick if off with Sunflower Weekday Micro Sessions.

These sessions will be available starting next week through June and July. They will be $150 plus tax for a 15 minute session, all inclusive.

They are located at my home in Dayton. These sessions are subject to weekdays only. Shoot time right now would be around 6:30 PM and after. These are for one individual. Families must purchase a regular mini or full session.

Must schedule with me in advance like a normal session. DM me to book.

Half priced deposits for new clients ($25, deducted from your total), no deposits required for returning clients who have had no cancellations.

I will continue to post sunflower wall updates in my story. After all of this rain, the second layer has bloomed. The small ones are being stubborn still, but we have plenty out now for it to be go time on these!

Good morning, friends!

This is the week that I go over everything Firefly (we are making some changes).

The first, most often asked, most cared about question.

HOW MUCH?

This answer can always be found on my website. However, I will share the images here as well.

Effective August 1st, the below pricing will take effect. From now until August 1st, you can have a session done at currect pricing. (Current is a Mini for $300 and a full for $500).

I am bringing back themed minis for Class of 2027 that will be discounted from the attached pricing, but I will announce those later this week.

However, with the pricing changes comes package changes. I am moving to ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGES. I have tried to do the upsell thing and it's not just me. I want to spend your whole session time creating magic and then I want you to have all of that magic. I am not a clock watcher. I am not a "I can't wait until this is over" photographer. I am a chasing you down the driveway asking if I can do one more I just thought of photographer. I try to envision every finished image as if it's a canvas on your wall. I care how your session goes, I care that you are comfortable and I care that you love your images. When we invest in each other, we are doing the dang thing to the best of my ability to turn ordinary into magic.

The all inclusive package is something I have offered my returning clients for a while. I am sure they are like "hey, how are you going to give the new guys our perk"? Well, RETURNING CLIENTS from the last 3 years, look at your last invoice. That is the max you will ever pay for that type of session. That's right. This new pricing does not effect you. If you're a returning client, but have not had a session in the last 3 years, you are capped at today's pricing. No increase for you either.

TAX AND TRAVEL FEES
This will be enforced across the board for all clients. I have to pay sales tax to the state on every session because I deliver digital files. When you do not add the tax, I have to pay it out of the session fee. I will no longer be paying the sales tax for my clients. If you require a formal invoice, I have upgraded my payment system and will send you one.

Travel fees will also be enforced across the board for all clients. Gas is wild. I have private property to shoot on. If you prefer an alternate location, travel fees will be applied.

RETAINER AND OTHER FEES
Returning clients are exempt from the retainer, UNLESS you have canceled on me. Anyone that has a previous cancellation on their file and new clients - the non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking.

This is a very important note I would like you guys to read regarding rescheduling.

I am the full time caregiver for my special needs child. Because of having to plan for alternate care, I am only able to schedule one session per day. That means if you reserve a Saturday in November, every single person that asks for that Saturday in November get turned away. It also means that my husband will not be working that Saturday in November so I can do your session.

When you cancel or reschedule, you have caused me to : turn away clients, lose current and potential income, caused my husband to lose income and altered the day for our entire family. (I am not talking about weather related reschedules.)

Now, that's just a part of business and my husband and I both work jobs that allow us the flexiblity to do this, but I want you guys to understand why I will be enforcing the reschedule fee from here on out. If you do not pay it, you cannot book a new session until both the fee and a new non refundable retainer are paid. This is firm whether you are a returning client or a new client.

NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM
I am now set up to accept all credit cards, Affirm and Klarna. I also offer payment plans as long as the session is paid in full by the shoot date. I am happy to work with you as needed.

BARTERING
I am open to bartering! PM me if you have something. We are definitely interested in any sort of land development work the most!

Happy graduation day and weekend to all 30 of “my” seniors!

Thank you all for choosing me and thank you for not just the session, but all of the memories made. We’ve we got lost in downtown together, got locked in the Bronco stadium together, rode a golf cart around Eagle Pointe together, shot in the rain together, spent hours together, ate in the car together, had a tire blow out on the way to the session, getting stuck by the Dayton train for 45 minutes watching the sun go behind the horizon as we need to shoot and all of you that have come by the house and played fetch with Hutson and Merle (even though I pay the boys $5 a session to keep them away). They are all memories we made together and I will forever cherish them!

This class of Dayton seniors is especially special to me as this is the class that was a Freshman when my own daughter graduated. I’ve seen these babies grow this whole time. I’ve shot baseball and softball (except that one year 🤣) for several years in a row. I watch their accomplishments come across my social media feed like CNN because they’re always doing things, always accomplishing things, always helping and always giving their all. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU ALL!

Now, go do the damn thing and I will see y’all in a few years for your college senior sessions. 😭😭😭😭
