The building looks bare without this historical De Pere landmark! My parents figure this Stowe Drugs sign was at least 50+ years old, and the building has had a large sign hanging there for at least 80+ years. We are hoping we can restore and rehang it, but it is unlikely. 😞

It is truly a miracle that no windows were broken and no one was injured! It was fate that my Christmas display was finished last night, I was working late and both my parents happened to stop by to take a look when I was here. I am beyond grateful that I made sure to snap some photos of them in front!!!! 💚💚💚

My day started yesterday with a cardinal at the studio(a visitor from Heaven), then my mom said she had a nightmare of me ‘falling’ off a ladder while in the studio. I did have a very eerie feeling while taking photos of my parents below the sign last night. Then, the person who removed the sign was named Harley. HARLEY STOWE was the original owner of Stowe Drugs. Definitely a few ‘signs’ of what was to come. Truly bitter sweet overall.
