Autumn first noticed Kade back in the awkward, early teenage years. They began dating in high school, and here we are today.

Instead of a first look, they chose a first touch, standing back to back and reading private vows that brought them both to tears before they ever saw each other's faces.

After the ceremony – which was officiated by Kade's brother – came to an end, everyone traveled back to Rapid City and brought the party with them. Good times all around!

Sometimes, the people we hold closest to us aren't able to be at our wedding. Unfortunately, that can mean parents whose time with us was cut short. But that doesn't mean they still can't be a special part of your day.

How this couple paid tribute to the bride's father is something that still gets me.

As a wedding videographer, I don't exactly get repeat clients. At least, not yet anyway 😅

That being said, I've been able to work with the same families more than once, and that's one of the best compliments I can ever receive. It's even more special when two sisters are each other's maids of honor.

Being each other's biggest cheerleaders, on both of their wedding days, both on film. Doesn't get much better than this.

When couples take advantage of the story sessions I offer, a question I always ask is "what are you looking forward to about married life?" Some talk about their dream home. Others their future children. No matter the answer, their story is theirs to write, together.

These days, couples don't meet the day before their wedding. Or, at least I hope not.
