BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 👇🏻

As SO MANY of you know, we shoot all of our weddings together and most sessions! Over the last year and half, film has become a HUGE part of my business, and so has Isaac. I wanted a name that would incorporate both film, and the two of us.

It’s still the same “DNH Photos” but completely rebranded, and I can’t wait for this next chapter!

ALSO: my Investment Guide has been updated for this rebrand and includes some new add-ons like Super 8! 👀

I booked my flight wrong & was going to be stuck in Montana an extra day…

If you’ve ever been in a group chat, and you’re anything like me, you know how easily you can get lost and miss stuff 🤣

Apparently I missed the dates, cause I was really about to pay $170 for a cheap motel and sit all day by myself 🙈 (LITERALLY- even the Motel 6 with bad reviews was $130 🤯)

However- last minute, American Airlines was able to move my seat to first class + send me home a day early! And they even refunded me some, which is crazy! I literally would have sat in the cargo hold if they would just let me come home 🥲

Praiseeeee the Lord, because I got home in time to visit family, drop off film, and prep for work this weekend!

I am about to have a FULL month of weddings & shoots, and I am BEYOND grateful!

Anyways… here are some digital + film shots from my trip in Montana last week! It was BEAUTIFUL!

I LEFT MY JOB & LOST MY HOME THIS MONTH 🤯

That’s actually a little crazy for me to say still! We have a cute little cottage looking home to move into, and this seems like a good time to share a little about the last 1.5 months of my life…

IT HAS BEEN A WHIRLWIND 😩

As some of you guys know, we have happily lived in a loft for years now. We had already discussed our plan to sign another two year lease with our landlord, but a couple of weeks later he texted us that they were selling the entire building- photo studio included! 😭

They texted me that on my FIRST day of orientation at my new nursing job.

I had $3 in my savings account.

THREE.

There have been LOTSSSS of work arounds to make this happen, but it is finished and we are moving out oh so soon!

Which is ALSO why I am not booking any additional photos for November. My schedule is already JAM PACKED, and I don’t want to pile anything else into it!

This week I will be BUSY and most likely away from my phone!

HOWEVERRRR, I’ll see ya in November (unless you booked in advance or want Fall minis!)👋🏻

Here’s the 411 on family sessions with littles that doesn’t have a SINGLE thing to do with your clothing, parenting skills, or location:

what makes them SO special is the fact that you can LET THEM BE LITTLE, and it makes allll the difference

they can eat the grass, throw the rocks, cry

none of it matters.

because in ten years you’re not gonna remember all of that

in ten years you’ll be sitting on your front porch reminiscing about those days with your littles and holding onto these photos for dear life

so here in this moment, capturing those memories as they are, is all that matters.
