My only son just recently joined his first travel ball team, The Port City Pirates. Yesterday they had their first tournament (Day 1 of 2). My son had the best time, the boys played great together, & I got to be their photographer!!

Today they finish up the tournament! Good luck Pirates!!

Just a few of my favorite shots from the 4th of July Fireworks Show at the Lakeyard. I recorded the grand finale so no pics of that. It was a beautiful show!!!

Across the lake, before the fireworks painted the sky, your family was already creating the night’s most beautiful light. ✨

I noticed these bright lights come on all at once across the lake. From a distance they almost looked like giant sparklers dancing in the dark. ✨

I grabbed my camera📸 , zoomed in as far as my lens would let me, & realized it was a family making memories together before the big show. 🎆

I don’t know your names, but from across the water it was really special getting to witness your joy. Watching the kids run around, seeing everyone laughing together, watching the kids faces light up from the light off of their gigantic sparklers.…thank you for unknowingly make me smile as I watched your family make memories together.

Sometimes the best memories aren’t the fireworks in the sky… they’re the people gathered beneath them. ❤️🇺🇸
