☔️ Tuesday Tip: When you’re touring wedding venues, ask to see the rain backup plan.
One thing I’ve heard from several of my recent brides is that having a beautiful Plan B was just as important as falling in love with the venue itself and honestly, I couldn’t agree more.
Florida weather likes to keep us guessing. It might drizzle for 20 minutes, rain all morning and clear up just before your ceremony, or throw in one of those classic 3 p.m. showers. The key is choosing a venue that feels just as magical, no matter what the forecast decides.
This sweet day is the perfect example. We had a little rain during the ceremony, moved inside while it passed, captured some cozy indoor portraits, and as soon as the skies cleared, we headed back outside to finish the rest. The timeline shifted a little, but the joy never did.
So here’s your reminder: don’t let the forecast rain on your parade. 🌦️ Sometimes the best wedding days don’t go exactly as planned and they end up even better because of it.
