The cover art for ‘Tears’ is one of my favorite pieces when I was experimenting with macro art back in 2022. Inspired from some of the Nikon ambassadors this image was one of many that worked with a picture inside a picture. The visuals were reversed in order for the interior image could be revealed. Oil and water combined over clear surfaces while using random colors created something that was so unique. I felt that this piece represented the mix not only for the randomness of the dot positions but also for the reverse swirl that really reflects on the set itself, almost mirroring the ideas that the sets name isn’t revealed by the mix itself until almost the end. Colors within tears, beauty.
