Ávila Vertical es una bitácora de nuestro Ávila verde, en blanco y negro, porque el autor es fotógrafo. Así de simple, aunque el concepto fotográfico detrás de esta obra es muy complejo, las decisiones tomadas son extremadamente personales y su autor es nada más, ni nada menos, que el gran fotógrafo venezolano, Jorge Luis Santos García el cual yo admiro muchísimo. Al abrir este libro notas que es arte, es una obra de arte. Su contenido de cuantiosas imágenes, fusionado con poemas de José Pulido lo hacen una pieza de colección. Su diseño, amoldado al formato panorámico en la cual se tomaron las fotos analógicas tiene ese efecto “WOW” el cual da orgullo, de que si se pueden hacer las cosas de una manera genial.
