The journey isn’t over. 🐾 BInghamton showed up to Kendrick Family Ballpark tonight and competed against a ranked WVU squad in our NCAA Regional opener, holding the ninth-ranked Mountaineers scoreless in six of eight innings. That’s not nothing — that’s Bearcat toughness on one of the biggest stages in college baseball. Zack Kent opened the scoring in the second inning — a sharp double into the corner, a heads-up read on the bases, and an evasive tag-beating slide that gave us our first NCAA Regional lead since 2009. Zach Anderson delivered the RBI. Moments like that remind us who we are. Conner Griffin took the mound with his foot on the gas — touching 95 on his very first pitch and topping 97 shortly after, punching out four. The ‘cats loaded the bases in the fifth and threatened to make it a ball game. We competed every inning. The final score didn’t go our way, but there are more games to be played. Up next: We face Wake Forest tomorrow at noon. One game. One mindset. All in. 🟢
