One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer isn't just delivering beautiful photos.

It's the relationships that come from it.

Morgan and I first met to talk through wedding details, but somewhere along the way, those meetings turned into dinners, conversations, and a genuine friendship. Months after her wedding, we're still getting together.

When couples trust me with their wedding day, I don't take that lightly. I get a front-row seat to one of the most important days of their lives, and that connection means so much to me.

Morgan, thank you for your kind words and for allowing me to be a part of not only one of the biggest days of your life, but the rest of your love story as well. ❤️

Two years ago (plus a little), I stood in this exact spot and captured Morgan + Josiah's wedding day. 💍

Today, they put those same outfits back on, came all the way to Toccoa, and helped me create some behind-the-scenes content for my business. I couldn't be more grateful.

What started as a client relationship has turned into so much more. Over the last 2+ years, Morgan has become one of my very best friends, and I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. ❤️

Morgan and Josiah, thank you for always showing up for me, supporting me, encouraging me, and being willing to do crazy things like putting your wedding clothes back on just because I had an idea. 😂

Getting to watch your love continue to grow since the day I photographed your wedding has been one of the greatest joys of my photography career. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your story. I love you both so much and am incredibly grateful for your friendship.

I may be a little sunburnt and running almost entirely on tacos, coffee, and sunscreen at this point… but I am soaking up every second of this trip. ☀️🌮🌴

I honestly haven’t picked up my camera nearly as much as I normally would, and for once, I’m okay with that. Some moments are meant to be fully lived in instead of perfectly documented.

The colorful streets, late night views, ocean air, and slow mornings with my little family have been exactly what my heart needed. 🤍

Still sneaking a few photos here and there though because let’s be honest… I can’t help myself. 😂📸

Someone say “YAYYYY!!!” ☀️🌊🏝️

We’re officially on vacation until Tuesday, May 26th and we are soaking up every last bit of sunshine, ocean air, and family time while we’re here. 💜 Ellie plans to leave a trail of sand absolutely everywhere we go until then. 😂

Responses to messages will be a little slower and more limited while we’re away, but I promise I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I can!

Sessions shot the week of May 3-9 will still be delivered this week as scheduled. Any sessions after that date will be edited and delivered once we’re back home and settled in. Thank y’all so much for your patience while we take a few days to recharge together! 🫶🏻☀️
