We were able to capture some photos of a new roof in our area. Client was able to acquire a new roof from an insurance claim made possible by the drone footage. Need to thank JosephMill Roofing and Eric Lanclos and his outstanding roofing crew for their work for getting this claim approved.

I am seeing plenty of roofing companies in the south Louisiana area these days. I was told these roofing companies follow hail storms that have a potentially damaging effect on roofs, mainly residential. So, here is the issue. Insurance companies will do their best to deny your claim. Case in point. Adjuster came to a customer's home, never got on the roof. Called his coworker, who got on the roof and took about 20 pictures with his cell phone all in the same spot. Claim was denied. Now here comes Optic Drone Solutions, LLC with a thermal imaging drone. ODS creates a model of the home, 2D, 3D and thermal, this way we can see exactly what is wrong with the roof. These pictures were then sent to the insurance company and the roofing company the client has hired. Without getting into a lot of back and forth with the insurance company, the drone footage that was provided made a strong case for the client. After an eight (8) month ordeal, the case was finally approved for the entire roof. Below is the thermal report of the house with roof temperatures in certain locations.
