OKAY! Getting to take photos in the snow was incredible…so who wants to fly me to their snowy wedding in another state?! 🥹🤍😘

ALSO…here’s a sweet reminder the Lord gave me as I began the morning with Him one of the few snow days we had🙌🏻

We get to hold the identity of His beloved. Constantly remembering that we made been made clean. I got to sit looking at the snow outside totally in awe that the Lord has made us like it.

“Come now and let’s deliberate over the next steps to take together.” Yahweh promises you over and over: “Though your sins stain you like scarlet, I will whiten them like bright, new-fallen snow! Even though they are deep red like crimson, they will be made white like wool! If you have a willing heart to let me help you, and if you will obey me, you will feast on the blessings of an abundant harvest.”

Last Sunday I was brought to tears…

I stood there worshipping the Lord and my spirit just cried out “HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, is the Lord God Almighty!” As I thought on all that means. Just how Holy our God is, how He is set apart from all else. Holy and unique, better than anything. I just wept. He is so so good, and how should we be responding to this? to His holiness?

Firstly, in absolute awe and reverence. Take the time to allow Him to show you what it means for Him to be HOLY. Sit in His presence and see it.

Secondly, to work to imitate Him in such.

“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.””
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We are to be holy as He is holy?! Yes, absolutely. We SHALL be because when we submit and consecrate ourselves to him, He empowers us to do it.

“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬ ‭NIV‬‬

What a beautiful day celebrating a covenant made in the likeness of the wedding to come!

A day full of celebration for bride had made herself ready for her groom. Two have come together clothed in fine linens ready to walk out the acts of the Lord Almighty in His righteousness!!!
