Does the bridal suite have intentional natural light? Is there a stunning, shaded spot for portraits during the brightest part of the day? If it rains, is their backup location that still feels elevated and refined?

There are certain moments I never rush through on a wedding day.

A grandmother kissing her grandson on the cheek.
A hand held just a little longer.
A smile that says more than words ever could.

After losing my own mom, I’ve come to understand that these aren’t just sweet moments—they’re the ones that become priceless.

As photographers, we aren’t just documenting a wedding. We’re preserving the people who made this day possible. The grandparents who prayed for them, cheered them on, and loved them long before they ever met at the end of the aisle.

One day, these photographs may be all that’s left to hold onto.

That’s why I’ll always make time to photograph the hugs, the kisses, and the quiet moments with the people who mean the most.

Because a wedding is more than the beginning of a marriage.

It’s a chapter in a family’s legacy. 🤍
