Lane reached out to me a few months ago explaining he wanted to propose to his long term girlfriend now that he would be graduating college. He wanted a classic Colorado backdrop with some fall colors if we could find it. I had a starting point for the location but when I want location scouting I find this hidden gem. So we jumped in a video call I showed him some iPhone photos I had taken and some Google Earth shots and he was sold. So we made if happen! I’m so stoked when clients trust me to find a spot that will blow their kinds instead of going with the locations that always get blown up all over social media.

Part 2 - Kelsey & Aaron’s Colorado Elopement! 🥂💍
This was a super special micro-wedding I got to photograph. I have known Kelsey and Aaron for 5 years now. I first met Kelsey when I moved to Colorado and she was such a ray of sunshine! Having no family here it is super important to find friends who are a strong support system for you. We have shared some amazing memories together. So when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was incredibly honored. We got to spend the weekend with them and celebrate with their family. It was our last hurrah together as they have made the decision to move back to their home state to be closer to family. We spent the weekend swimming in rivers, lakes, hiking and boating! And most importantly they got to say, “I do!” I’m so excited to watch their journey together and see where their future takes them!

A little sneak peek from Matt and Colleen’s Crested Butte Elopement in the beautiful mountains of Colorado! We even got some surprise visitors during their sunrise first look.
I’ll never forget as Colleen and I were walking up to Matt for their first look a horse walk right by us and did the biggest FART! I screamed, it scared me 😂 definitely one of the more memorable first looks I’ve ever photographed!
