Been shooting some film lately with my Canon EOS-1V, and WOW, it hits different.

The colors, the grain, the way it feels like a memory you can hold. There’s just something about film that makes everything feel more real, like you’re stepping into a moment instead of just looking at it.

Film always takes me back to when my mom handed me a wind-up disposable camera when I was six years old, I remember how important it felt to click the shutter, then, and now. (Scroll to the end to see one of the first photos I ever took, of her)

Life’s been a blur of mountain views, sunset sessions, and the kind of big belly laughs that leave your face hurting (the best kind).

I shot a bucket-list wedding in Greece, worked with the most insanely talented people, and somehow grew this little business of mine by 92% (!!). It wasn’t always easy, but damn, was it worth it.

I couldn’t be more excited for this year. I’ve been working with my couples to get all the details in place ahead of time—hello, stress-free planning and intentional photos; goodbye, wedding day chaos. I can’t wait to be part of so many incredible stories this year—I truly have the BEST clients!⁠

Golden sunlight filtering through the trees, wildflowers brushing your feet, and the mountains standing tall around you 🌲🪻

That’s where M&A found themselves celebrating their engagement—right in the backyard of her grandpa’s cozy mountain lodge in Breckenridge ⛰️

Surrounded by nature, warm summer breezes and love, the weather held up like it was planned just for us. The results? Photos that are unique, authentic, natural, playful, and real as it gets.

I can’t wait to celebrate Mariah & Andrew again and capture even more love on their wedding day next year! 💍🕊️
