Sheesh, it’s been a while since I got the ole out, and it was totally on accident. I saw this scene unfold from my couch, so I grabbed my camera, prayed for some inkling of battery life, then went on my balcony and shot this at 300mm handheld 😎

I really like the colors. Like, a lot.

Hiked about 18 miles through one of the worst snowstorms Colorado has ever seen. With hypothermia setting in, and my fingers slowly developing frostbite, I somehow managed the strength to take this photo.
Lol jk, I just rolled down my window in my air conditioned jeep and snapped this handheld. Sometimes, you just get lucky.

This past weekend I made my rounds through Guanella pass to check out the changing leaves. While the snowstorm we had in early September definitely caused a lot of the leaves to die instead of turn, I was still amazed at how beautiful it was. Hopefully you are too!
