Wildlife photography has become one of my favorite ways to slow down and appreciate Colorado in a completely different way.

During a recent visit to , I spent some time following a herd of Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep as they grazed along the hillsides. Instead of rushing from one location to another, I found myself simply watching how they interacted, moved together, and kept an eye on one another.

The last photo in this series ended up being my favorite. While the ewes quietly fed below, a mature ram stood above the herd, calmly watching over them. There wasn't any dramatic action or excitement—just a simple moment that reminded me why I enjoy photographing wildlife as much as I do.

Every trip into Colorado's outdoors has a story to tell. Sometimes you just have to slow down long enough to notice it.

Sometimes the best part of a wedding day is stepping away from the timeline for a few quiet moments together.

Before saying "I do," Jenny & Andrew took a trolley ride to Chautauqua Park to soak in the mountain views and spend a little time together before the celebration began. From golden light filtering through the trees to a few peaceful moments beneath the veil, these portraits are a reminder that your wedding day doesn't have to feel rushed.

Paige & Tristan’s wedding at Beaver Ranch Park was filled with the kind of moments that stay with you long after the day is over. 🌲✨

From their ceremony kiss beneath the tall Colorado pines, to the first dances that brought everyone together, the entire evening felt grounded in connection and joy.

The parent dances were especially meaningful—quiet, emotional moments that honored the people who helped shape them into who they are today.

Beaver Ranch Park was the perfect setting for a celebration that was as emotional as it was joyful, surrounded by the people who matter most.

A little surreal seeing my story shared by Bold Journey this week. ❤️

Photography has been a journey of growth, creativity, and more than a few moments of uncertainty. A special shoutout to all the June couples celebrating a wedding, anniversary, or simply another year of choosing each other. ❤️

As much as I love the epic mountain views, beautiful venues, and perfect sunsets, it's the goofballs that always make my job the most fun. The couples who can't stop laughing, make each other snort-laugh during photos, break into spontaneous dance moves, and remind everyone that love doesn't have to be serious all the time. 😆

Captured Saturday morning in Estes Park, Ypsilon Mountain put on such a dramatic show with moody clouds rolling across the peaks while warm morning light peeked through at just the right moment. One of those views that makes you stop, breathe, and appreciate just how wild and beautiful Colorado can be. 📸

🌄🦌 There’s something peaceful about an early morning in the mountains—golden light, quiet moments, and wildlife slowly starting their day. We spent sunrise exploring Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park and were lucky enough to capture a few elk and deer along the way. 🏔️✨

🦌 Sunrise in Rocky Mountain National Park brought crisp air, quiet roads, and a few early morning wildlife sightings. We may not have spotted every animal on the wish list, but watching elk and deer wander through the mountain landscape before most people were even awake felt pretty special, plus - we will be back! 🏔️✨
